The Graduate School provides leadership, oversight, and service for all graduate programs at the University. These programs include certificate and degree programs at the master's, master of fine arts, specialist, and doctoral levels. The Graduate School manages the Doctoral Fellow, Graduate Assistant, Work-Study and Graduate School G.A. programs, the King-Chavez-Parks Future Faculty Fellows Program, and the award process for most General Fund and endowed scholarships and fellowships. It interprets and monitors Graduate School procedures and policies as recommended by the Graduate Council and established by the Dean of the Graduate School. It develops programs of academic and professional interest to faculty and students, including orientations, workshops, seminars, guest speakers, and an annual Graduate Research Fair. The Graduate School manages internal funding programs for the support of student research and creative projects.
