If you are currently an EMU student, you may register online through my.emich email account or mail in the form found in the CE bulletin. For internet on-line courses see the CE on-line Website.

If you are an EMU student who has not enrolled in the past two years, you need to complete the Enrollment Change Form to reactivate your student number. The form is submitted to the Office of Admissions. Once processed, you may register online.

  • If the beginning date of the course is rapidly approaching, you may register for the course using the course registration form found on the CE web site or in their bulletin.

  • Doing so will change your admission status from program admit to CE. You will have to use the Enrollment Change Form TO GET BACK INTO YOUR DEGREE PROGRAM PRIOR TO GRADUATION.

If you have never been admitted to EMU, complete the course registration form found on the CE web site or in their bulletin to enroll in a CE course. You will be issued a student number. In future semesters, this student number enables you to enroll in other Continuing Education offerings but NOT in on-campus courses.

  • You need to complete the formal application process for admission into a graduate program (submit an Application for Graduate Admission, application fee, personal statement, any required test scores or admission requirements of the program/department).

  • Full admission enables you to apply for financial aid, receive a scholarship, fellowship or graduate assistantship, and enroll in any on- or off-campus offerings that do not have program restrictions.

  • Without being fully admitted, one CAN NOT GRADUATE from a specific program even if it is totally offered through Continuing Education. Having a student number through Continuing Education DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE BEEN ADMITTED TO A GRADUATE PROGRAM. Please complete admission paperwork as described above.
