I am an EMU graduate student and would like to take undergraduate course(s) at another Michigan university.

  • Since the course in question is an undergraduate course, the MIGS form can not be used.

  • The Office of Records and Registration, 303 Pierce Hall, has guest forms to be used for graduate students taking undergraduate course work at another university. They verify that you are a student in good standing.

  • You submit the form to the other university in order to receive a student number for registering for the course. A fee may be required by the other university.

  • Undergraduate course work CAN NOT be transferred onto a graduate program of study but may be used to meet undergraduate curricular deficiencies or prerequisites to graduate work, as noted on a program of study.

  • Request transcripts be sent from the other university to the EMU Office of Admissions for scanning. Academic departments/schools can view them to verify work completion.
