1. Obtain the Graduation Application for Graduate Students form from:
the front of any class schedule book or
the Office of Records and Registration, 303 Pierce Hall or
click on "WEB" on the right column of this page under "Download" and print copy
2. Complete the form by:
signing it
submitting payment as noted on form
3. Return form:
by mail or in person to the Cashier's Office, 201 Pierce Hall
by deadline dates posted in the class schedule book, usually within the first few weeks of the semester
4. Remember:
Without this form and payment of fee YOU WILL NOT FORMALLY GRADUATE and your transcript will not show degree posting.
If for some reason you do not complete your coursework, thesis, etc. by the semester for which you have applied for graduation, YOU MUST INFORM THE OFFICE OF RECORDS AND REGISTRATION that you will be graduating the following semester. You may complete another form and return it to the Office of Records and Registration (without an additional fee) or send them a letter or email. Notification MUST BE IN WRITING; a phone call will not suffice.
This procedure applies to all graduate programs including graduate certificate programs (but not teaching certification -- consult the College of Education).
