Graduate Assistant stipends are offered by the hiring departments based on market factors. Each discipline has an average stipend and variable rate from which offers can be determined. (Full-time, 20 hrs. per week, ac. yr.)

*Graduate Assistants may not exceed a maximum of 18 credits of tuition scholarship during any fiscal year (summer, fall, winter, spring sequence). Determination of the tuition award for spring, summer, or for partial semesters of appointment are at the discretion of the Graduate School and hiring unit.

**New Assistantship appointment maximum for spring term is 5 credits. Approved carry-over from previous fall and winter assistantship appointment(s) is a maximum of 6 credits for the Spring term.
