Graduate student presenters for the Graduate Research Fair were asked to submit a two-page paper providing the following information:
What are your topic and goals for this research/project?
What were your procedures/methodology?
What were the outcomes/findings of your project/research?
How is your work unique? How does it contribute to your field of study?
What did/do you hope to accomplish? Is the research/project finished or ongoing? Did the research/project achieve the goals you had anticipated?
What would you do differently were you to undertake this project/study again? What recommendations do you have for further study on this topic?
Three faculty reviewed each paper and determined to whom 12 - $250 awards would be given. Here are the winners. Click on their name to link to their winning paper (see right column of this page under "Download").
All Graduate Research Fair presenters will be asked to submit by January 18th, their nomination form and 50-150-word abstract. They are also asked to submit a two-page document summarizing their research/project by February 18, 2008 (click the Guidelines for Monetary Awards link under Related Links upper column for full requirements). Papers will be reviewed for monetary award consideration - Scholarships are a good thing!
